Chronic lower back pain brought Gretchen to her first Iyengar yoga class in 2006. The alignment, precision, and systematic intelligence of the practice appealed to her mechanical engineering background and she became a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher in 2014. Being the mother of three, Gretchen teaches with a balance of discipline, empathy, and humor. She encourages students at all levels to expand their knowledge and deepen their practice of Iyengar yoga so they can live healthier and feel happier.
Gretchen teaches public classes at the BKS Iyengar Studio of Dallas. New students are always welcome!
